I'm a scientist. Well, a computer scientist, but that should count. Regardless, I have a strong scientific background and am interested in almost all scientific fields.
I'm also Jewish. I believe strongly in my religion, although my level of practice is not as strong as the level of my belief. And no, I don't have any problem reconciling my religious beliefs with my scientific beliefs - I don't think there can be a contradiction, and I have never found an apparent contradiction I couldn't resolve to my personal satisfaction.
If you are curious about the details of my religious beliefs, feel free to ask. I enjoy discussing religion. If you want to convert me to some other religion, go away - I have no patience for missionaries.
My political views are conservative. If you want to know the details or ask why, go ahead and ask. If you want to try and change my opinions, go somewhere else. I have as little patience for political missionaries as I do for religious ones.
In my LJ, expect to see humorous observations, links to interesting articles, memage, and similar things. I tend to post serious articles to other blogs.
If you're a friend of mine in real life and are not on my friends list, feel free to ask me to add you. I rarely restrict who can read my articles, but "rarely" does not mean "never".
